Great Baroque works by Bach and Handel, several arranged especially for the Ferio Saxophone Quartet by Iain Farrington, are followed by pieces specially written for the instruments, including a short work by local composer, John Casken, and compositions by Guillermo Lago, who has played in a Saxophone Quartet for over 30 years.
As one of the leading British saxophone quartets among the new generation of artists, the Ferio Saxophone Quartet consistently receives a highly enthusiastic reception from audiences and critics alike. The Quartet record with Chandos Records for whom they have
released two CDs in 2017.
The Ferios infuse everything they do with such a lovely, engaging personality. What a fabulous foursome; bar-raising musicianship and sound.
