Since 2012 the Magnard Ensemble has built a reputation for delivering high quality concert performances and dynamic educational projects.
At their core the group is a Wind Quintet and on the Friday evening they will give a varied and exciting wind quintet recital.
On the Saturday morning they will add a pianist and narrator to perform a Children’s Concert of a project they launched nationwide in 2016 (Revolting Rhymes and Marvellous Music) with music by Paul Patterson and Martin Butler adding to Roald Dahl’s stories.
The Magnard Ensemble are sponsored by the Tillett Trust.
The Children’s Concert ‘Revolting Rhymes and Marvellous Music’ for mainly 5-11 year olds is on Saturday 16 March at 11.00am in St Michael’s Church.
This is a ‘Pay what you think it’s worth as you leave’ concert.
